Library

      Both East campus and West campus have libraries where International students could read and borrow reading materials by using your Campus Card. If you want know more details about the regulations and usages of library, you could check them on CAU library page.
     The CAU Library serves as the central library for higher agricultural education institutions in China, with 21,550 m2 of floor space, housing 1.42 million books and 2,900 scientific journals. The university’s holding covers a wide range of subjects, although the majority focuses on agricultural and biological sciences and agricultural engineering. The library network also hosts more than 20 electronic data bases for use by students, faculty and staff. The library is equipped with an automated indexing system for ease of access in addition to providing open-shelf services.
      With technical assistance kindly rendered by Food and Agriculture Organizations of the United Nations (FAO), in addition to the existing FAO Corner, CAU Library has successfully established a BIB Chinese Mirror System of the FAO Library and Documentation Center, which is the only such a system available in the world outside of FAO Headquarters in Rome, Italy.

Campus Network

The CAU E-Net, equipped in the late 1990’s, is available for all offices, laboratories, student dorms, and residential apartments on campuses. Domestic distance-learning programs have been operational since 2001.
